Grumiaux Competition Prizewinner

On February 12th 2016, Sumina was awarded second prize at the International Arthur Grumiaux Competition for Young Violinists in Namur, Belgium.

Developed in 2008, named "Bravo!" Competition, the competition now is dedicated to belgian violinist Arthur Grumiaux, who was known for strongly emphasizing the importance of phrasing, the quality of sound and the artistry.

The competition is supported by the foundation "Baron Arthur Grumiaux", and is rewarded by Princess Léa of Belgium. Since 2016, "Musiq'3", a belgian radio station operated by RTBF (Radio Télévision Belge de la Communauté Francaise), became the official sponsor of the competition.
